That said, our checkout process isn&#8217;t as simple as it once was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the past, we were classified as a &#8220;bookseller,&#8221; but we are now classified as an &#8220;adult market&#8221; store. This means certain credit cards are no longer available for us to process. Additionally, banks and card issuers are extra cautious with these transactions; they may require you to call them to confirm a purchase is not fraudulent much more often than they used to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s a breakdown of common troubleshooting spots:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"can-t-sign-in\"><strong>Can\u2019t sign in?<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>If you haven\u2019t purchased a comic from us in the past two years, you will need to <strong>create a new account<\/strong>. We migrated to a new website platform at the start of 2024. If you are using an <strong>accepted card<\/strong>, have entered the <strong>correct billing info<\/strong>, and have <strong>ticked the T&amp;C box<\/strong>, your bank is <strong>likely declining the purchase<\/strong>. You can usually resolve this by calling your bank to authorize the transaction and then trying again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"multiple-attempt-lockout\"><strong>Multiple Attempt Lockout<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note: If you have <strong>three failed attempts<\/strong> to check out, our system will automatically lock your account for <strong>36 hours<\/strong> as a security measure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"terms-and-conditions\"><strong>Terms and Conditions<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure that you have checked the small box to agree to our <strong>Terms and Conditions &amp; Digital Comic License<\/strong>. The system will not proceed without this selection!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"multiple-attempt-lockout\"><strong>Card Verification Fee<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Quite often there is a &#8220;Card Verification Fee&#8221; of $1.00 to $2.00 that is temporarily charged to your card. It will vanish after 24 hours and not be on your monthly credit card statelement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"if-all-else-fails\"><strong>If all else fails\u2026<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>We know many of you only have MasterCards or prefer not to call your bank to authorize a purchase.
