Class Comics is proud to release the official DEIMOS DIGEST #1, which until now had only been available from the Class Comics JUST FOR FANS page. The official Class Comics version is here and it serves as an unofficial tenth anniversary celebration of the fan-favorite classic “DEAD OF WINTER” stories.

The stunning cover art is brand new (2025) and created by Patrick Fillion and colorist Hernan Cabrera, while the interior art is a collection of Patrick’s work from 2013, 2015, and 2017, offering a unique view into Deimos’ visual evolution over the years.

In chapter one, the original DEAD OF WINTER adventure…Deimos faces one of his greatest tests to date.

Deimos is one tough son of a bitch. He’s taken down more demonic threats than anyone could count, and he’s kept the forces of Hell from spilling into our world outright. He’s a man’s man — a fierce warrior, strong, determined and brave to a fault. So has the Taro Demon finally met his match?

Beneath the ruined streets of Gateway City, Deimos is ambushed by a vile demon the likes of which he’s never encountered before: the dreaded PUGAZZO. Taken by surprise, Deimos is beaten, battered and ravaged by the horrible creature. The abuse continues until our hero manages to escape and flee to the winter-swept mountains beyond the city. There he seeks a man named Mack and hopes that his old friend will be able to help him mend his wounds.

But Pugazzo is no fool, and the vile monster is hot on Deimos’ heals, determined to put an end to him once and for all. Deimos is greatly weakened by his injuries, and his hopes of surviving Pugazzo’s next attack are pretty slim. Are Deimos’ days at an end?

In chapter two, Deimos faces a threat unlike any he’s encountered before: the danger posed by misguided religious Zealots!

After leaving Mack’s home deep in the woods outside Gateway City, Deimos encounters an ancient order of Monks known as the “Brotherhood of the Illuminated”. Cut off from civilization and oblivious to the world beyond the walls of their monastery, these “men of God” incapacitate Deimos with an ancient binding prayer and set out to punish him for his sins and evil deeds.

Try as he might, Deimos can’t convince them that he’s no longer the demon written about in their ancient texts. He’s a “good guy” now and working with Heaven to end the war with Hell. The Monks will hear nothing of it, and Deimos is used and abused like he’s never been before.

Deimos is tough, but his stern demeanor and unflappable strength will be tested, if not actually broken, by these religious zealots who lost their own way a long time ago.

The DEIMOS DIGEST #1 includes DEIMOS: DEAD OF WINTER parts 1 and 2. They’re written and illustrated by Patrick Fillion, with colors by Hernan Cabrera and Fillion. Every page is bursting with deliciously buff Taro Demon goodness. Deimos is in for the ride of his life… and his reputation as being “unbreakable” will be severely challenged in these amazing twelve pages of complete and utter sexual abandonment.

The DEAD OF WINTER stories are so signifgicant in Class Comics history because they marked Patrick Fillion’s return to the Deimos character after nearly ten years. Patrick returned in force with these two incredible tales, and has been going strong on Deimos since.
