If your card is declined on the first try, even if you put in the right info & are using a Visa or Discover card, your Credit Card company is soft-declining the transaction! Please phone them to allow “CCBill.com *Class Comics” on your card! If you try repeatedly, both your Credit Card & CCBill will lock you out!

First of all, thank you for being a reader. We wouldn’t still be here after 25 years—especially considering the turbulence of the last few—if it weren’t for your support. That said, our checkout process isn’t as simple as it once was.

In the past, we were classified as a “bookseller,” but we are now classified as an “adult market” store. This means certain credit cards are no longer available for us to process. Additionally, banks and card issuers are extra cautious with these transactions; they may require you to call them to confirm a purchase is not fraudulent much more often than they used to.

If you haven’t purchased a comic from us in the past two years, you will need to create a new account. We migrated to a new website platform at the start of 2024. You can read the full details on the transition here:

Accepted Payment Methods

Accepted: Visa, Discover, Diners Club, and JCB Cards.
Not Accepted: MasterCard, American Express, or any Debit cards from Visa/MasterCard.

Bank Security Declines

As mentioned, banks are often suspicious of transactions in our category. If you are using an accepted card, have entered the correct billing info, and have ticked the T&C box, your bank is likely declining the purchase. You can usually resolve this by calling your bank to authorize the transaction and then trying again.

Multiple Attempt Lockout

Please note: If you have three failed attempts to check out, our system will automatically lock your account for 36 hours as a security measure.

Terms and Conditions

Make sure that you have checked the small box to agree to our Terms and Conditions & Digital Comic License. The system will not proceed without this selection!

Card Verification Fee

Quite often there is a “Card Verification Fee” of $1.00 to $2.00 that is temporarily charged to your card. It will vanish after 24 hours and not be on your monthly credit card statelement.
